What is Agent Router?

Agent Router is a Chatislav's specialized AI system that acts as a decision-making layer to determine the optimal workflow or action to be triggered based on incoming request and available context.

How to configure Agent Router?

There is no need for any specific configuration, as it works automatically when there is at least one enabled AI Agent Action or AI Agent Workflow.
However, you can add additional guidelines to Agent Router to help it better understand workflows and actions before triggering one of them.

eg: consider following user request: “what citizens do you have?” as “What citizen watches do you have?”

1. Click on “Advanced” button inside Agent Actions screen

2. Configure Agent Router.

Give our agent router additional instructions on how to choose the appropriate AI agent workflow or action.

 

Reasoning
Turn on Reasoning to let the model reason through which workflow or action best matches the request before triggering one. This is useful when you have several overlapping workflows/actions and routing accuracy matters more than raw speed.

 

Effort
When reasoning is enabled, choose how much the router thinks — Low, Medium, or High. Higher effort improves routing decisions on complex or ambiguous requests, at the cost of some latency. Start at Low and increase only if you notice mis-routing.
